※The house key will be handed when you check in.
※The check-ins of Machiya B and Machiya C are also conducted in Machiya A.
※Meals are not offered.
※The toilet, bathroom, washbasin, and kitchen are shared.
There is a public bath Ikesuonsen nearby.
Check-in: 4:00 p.m. ～ 8:00 p.m.
Check-out: 7:00 a.m. ～10:00 a.m.

Meet at the temple
30 minutes before the practice
About 30～90 minutes (It may change according to the number of participants)
Because the practice is conducted on the wooden floor, white socks are suggested. Also, it will be appreciated if your skin is not revealed too much. Loose-fit pants are suggested during the Zen meditation.
Through copying sutras by hand, you will feel calm and relaxed.You can choose to keep the writtensutra in the temple or bring it home.
You chant sutras aloud. The priest of the temple will teach you how to chant from the beginning.
You chant the name of Amitābha, beating the wooden fish.
④Zazen (Zen meditation)
Zazen is a basic practice of Zen Buddhism. The priest will teach you how to adjust your body, breath, and emotion.
Choose your favorite beads and make your own rosary bracelet.
It is an original meditation of Shingon Buddhism. It helps you to recover your breath and relax.
⑦Praying a million times
The practice is originally from Chionji Temple in Kyoto. People get together in a circle and chant Nenbutsu repeatedly.
⑧Buddhist image copying
You copy the image of Buddhist. Through the practice, you will have a pure heart. You can offer the copy to the temple or you can bring it home.
You will use the flowers in the garden to make flower arrangement. And you can choose to bring it home.
It is an original practice of school of Nichiren. You can get a lot of blessing through chanting Namu-myoho--rengekyo continuously.
You will learn the proper way to make green tea. Also, you will enjoy green tea with Japanese sweets.
There will be a Koto demonstration. And you can try playing the Koto after the demonstration.

People stay in a machiya or join the temple experience program.
